About Pharm.D

The Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) program offers an advanced and comprehensive approach to pharmacy education, typically spanning six years. Rooted in clinical pharmacy and patient-centered care, the curriculum emphasizes direct patient interaction, medication therapy management, and interprofessional collaboration. With a focus on clinical sciences, pharmacotherapy, and pharmacy practice, students gain in-depth knowledge of disease management, drug therapy optimization, and pharmaceutical care delivery. Practical training, including extensive clinical rotations in hospitals and healthcare settings, forms a significant part of the program, providing hands-on experience in patient counseling, medication reconciliation, and drug monitoring. Graduates of Pharm.D programs are prepared for a range of advanced practice roles, including clinical pharmacy specialists, pharmaceutical consultants, and healthcare educators.
