• To make the SC/ST students aware of the schemes / benefits provided by the central / state Governments.
• To provide counseling and guidance to SC/ST students to manage academic and personal issues.
• To focus on career growth and opportunities for SC/ST students.

• To make available data / information on SC/ST schemes / benefits provided by the central / state Government to SC/ST students.
• To educate the SC/ST students about protection and reservation provided in the constitution of India.
• To conduct awareness sessions on various scholarship / benefits for SC/ST students.
• To provide counselling to needy SC/ST students.
